Q & A with Sydney Malain By Keaton Row
Who is your personal style icon? (name up to three)
Zooey Deschanel, and Stacey London. Mixing their styles together make for fun and modern silhouettes that echo the glamorous fashion looks from past eras.
What one item in your wardrobe could you never live without, and why?
My mustard yellow blouse with little owls on it by L'Atiste
What's been your biggest investment piece thus far? What is one investment piece you hope to one day call your own?
My biggest investment piece are my nude pumps by Baby Phat, I wear them with everything from colored tights to rolled up jeans. I would hope to someday own a nude ankle height-peep toed boot by Jimmy Choo
What is your universal style tip (something every woman can benefit from)?
Everyone can have fun with new trends, it's all about the size and fit. Don't be embarrassed to try a size bigger. Never look at the numbers on the tags. Designers use different measurements and the size you are in one country, you might be smaller in another.
Where can we find you on a Saturday afternoon?
On a Saturday afternoon, you will always see me with a coffee at the department store cosmetic counters, trying to change up my look.
