Let's Give a Big Merci' "Beaucoo" for Body Positivity!

Attention all fashionistas - no matter your size! I'm writing today to tell you, my BackwardsOwl readers,
about my new favorite fashion app! The Beaucoo app (available for Android and iPhone)
is a style network for girls and women of all shapes and sizes.

I am, like most people in today's world addicted to pintrest. I find myself logging in to search for outfit ideas and looking for girls about my size to see how it might appear on me. However, with so many pictures flooding in under "fashion" it's hard to get an accurate search. (I know, you're probably wondering what this has to do with Beaucoo, but it does, I promise!) Beaucoo is like pintrest for fashion lovers. You can easily search the site and find people just like you to swap fashion ideas and pictures with. 

When you sign up for the Beaucoo app you fill out a profile with basic information and a photo of yourself. You are then given the opportunity to fill out a confidential size chart. They don't share it with anyone! This size chart is kept hidden, but it is used as a search tool to help you find 

others that are a similar size and fit to your body.

Follow as many people as you want so you can see their picture uploads and recent purchases. This allows you to get a first hand look of how an article of clothing might look on you before you buy it! Users give a short description detailing where they bought the product, its size, and how it fits. No more guessing whether an outfit will look fabulous on you, or if it's even worth the money. When you see an outfit you like, simply hit the "love" button or the "want" button and it is saved for future reference when you're finally ready to shop. 

However Beaucoo is more then an app and a fun place to stalk fashion trends, it is a network of women who encourage body positivity and empowerment. As their motto says - "Pics on someone your own size" you can confidently post any picture without backlash or hateful words. You are encouraged to be yourself and make fashion fun, regardless of the brand or your body type. Watch out Abercrombie!
