TheBackwardsOwl: My Marketplace Finds for Fall

So i'm not much of a summer fan so as I'm waiting to pull out my sweaters and cardi's for the crisp air, I took a look around the handmade marketplace to find my favorites for this coming season (mostly so i could shop)!

And The first thing i came across was a BIG bow. It may not be TheBackwardsOwl, but paired with a chunky cowl, this bow will be dashing. And those orange shoes with tight and a wool high waisted short, will be your go-to outfit.

Here is that perfect chunky monkey scarf everyone needs in their wardrobe. This is a scarf I would love to have, it's enormous size could tackle any weather.

Of course after visiting chictopia.com I HAD to head over to the most addicting things on the web, etsy.com, and copious.com (besides pintrest.com of course). I can spend hours browsing through pages of styles and still not see a single thing I hate. I learned from these two sites two things, 1. I am addicted to anything in mustard yellow, and 2. Mustard yellow is trendy (and if it's not i am making it a declaration that it will be this fall anyways!) I'm loving the loosely defined curls around her face it compliments her hand knit beanie perfectly.

Everyones favorite accessory on etsy...the fingerless gloves! no matter how many seasons go by and how little warmth they might provide they make any outfit irresistible. With the brown buttons on the side I might wear these even in this heat! (In Redding, CA it's been about106 degrees).

Now for Copious.com. It redefines thrift store shopping. The great deal of other peoples trash, becoming your treasure, without the smell!!! Someone is selling their Cardigan from TheLoft, for $25! what a steal for fall. I love buying my cardigans in a size or two too big. and wrapping a big infitiy scarf around my neck. It's the comfort of a sweater with a lil' bit more class. and paired with some riding boots and your ready to tackle anything.
