TheBackwardsOwl: Summer Blues

If you pick your outfits based on your mood than this dress was a great way to express my Summer blues. I am not a summer fan. The sun isn't awful but I don't enjoy the heat. A whole bunch of people getting sweaty and sticky just grosses me out.

I have been feeling down the last two weeks, but mostly this week. I had a job interview for a job I would love to have, but I have not heard back. I would be a copywriter and fashion blogger for LuLu*s, it's office and warehouse is based out of Chico. My husband and I just moved to Chico, about an hour away from my parents, and my dogs. So I am still adjusting. I'm in a season of re-evaluating my future goals, my school, and my priorities.

As much as I love this dress it's deep blue was really mirroring the way I felt. The flowers represented the hope I place in the Lord to provide for my husband and I, in this season of our life. Even if the season i'm in literally and emotionally are not something I am feeling comfortable in.
