So back in December I signed up for one of my favorite actress' website. This actress was Amy Davidson. You will probably recognize her as the younger sister in the TV comedy "8 Simple Rules".
My first item was a beautiful and very universally flattering shade of red lipstick in the shade, Walnut. This lipstick is by Gabriel Cosmetics is gluten and vegan free. The color glides on so smoothly due to it's conditioning ingredients of Jojoba Oil, Aloe Vera and Bisabolol, and lasts all day. I have never been a big red lips girl, but this mineral-pressed, brick-red lipstick now snuggles between all my MAC products comfortably.
The last product I received was her favorite lip balm, Smith's Rosebud Salve. I always have chapped lips that need some TLC, so I was pleasantly surprised at how nurturing this salve was on my lips. It doesn't even interfere with any lipsticks that you apply afterwards. This little lifesaver has found a home in my purse pocket (yes I do have a mild panic attack when I can't find it or I think I've left it somewhere).
The Most amazing part about this salve is how multi-purpose it is. It works great on dry cracked skin. I sometimes put a little on my heels and slip on a pair of socks to lock in the moisture. This is a must-have as spring and summer are right around the corner and we need supper soft skin.
This post is not sponsored by Amy, Gabriel Cosmetics or Rosebud Perfume Co. I was just so blessed by Amy's gracious gifts that I wanted to spread the word about these wonderful treasures I have been able to receive. Take some time to visit her site at www.amydavidson.com, and sign up so you can stay up to date on all her favorite things and adventures.
Amy was running a giveaway of her favorite things just for signing up to her site, and can you believe it, I won some goodies! I received her favorite lip balm, lipstick and a seaweed face mask. How many random people get a "Christmas gift" as I have been calling it, from their favorite actor?
Since these items have now become my own favorite things I thought I should share with you how amazing they are.

Gabriel's Skincare line is just as amazing as their lipsticks. Her favorite gluten and vegan free seaweed mask made my skin feel so soft and supple. I couldn't believe how much brighter my skin looked. As a licensed Esthetician I can confidently recommend this seaweed mask to everyone, especially those with sensitive skin that's prone to redness.
"At the same time, Gabriel Organics uses 100% natural ingredients - plant oils, extracts from the sea, botanicals and never any harsh ingredients, or artificial preservatives, fragrances or colors. As a result, our high quality products are non-allergenic and fragrance-free, ideal for even the most sensitive skin. " www.gabrielcosmeticsinc.com
